Family Reunions & Multi-Generational Trips in Bali

Every Generation,
One Villa.

Family reunions and multi-generational holidays in Bali, from toddlers to great-grandparents, planned around everyone's pace and run by a team on the ground.

Book a Complimentary Call

The hardest part of a family trip is being the person who organises it. We take that job: the villa that sleeps everyone, the transfers for flights landing at different hours, the cots and the dietary notes, and days that work for the youngest and the oldest at once.

What We Arrange

Three Ways
Families Gather

Every family is different. Here's how each kind of trip usually comes together.

The Family Reunion

  • ✦An estate, or neighbouring villas, that keeps everyone close
  • ✦Staggered arrivals collected from the airport, whatever the hour
  • ✦One family dinner, styled and photographed
  • ✦A private boat day or beach club with space for every age
  • ✦A shared schedule with plenty of free time
  • ✦One point of contact for every branch of the family

The Multi-Generational Holiday

  • ✦Bedrooms planned around who needs quiet and who needs the pool
  • ✦Cots, high chairs, extra beds and step-free rooms arranged in advance
  • ✦Babysitters and nannies vetted and booked
  • ✦Shorter transfers and private drivers for every outing
  • ✦Mornings for the children, evenings for the adults
  • ✦Dietary and medical needs noted before anyone arrives

The Milestone Gathering

  • ✦A parent's 70th, a golden anniversary or a vow renewal
  • ✦A blessing ceremony with a local priest
  • ✦A dinner with speeches, live music and Balinese dance
  • ✦A photographer for the whole-family portrait
  • ✦Surprise elements kept from the guest of honour
  • ✦A pace the oldest guests can enjoy as much as the youngest

Every family trip is quoted for its own plan. The first step is a complimentary call to talk through who's coming, their ages, and the dates.

Ideas for the Family

Days Out the Whole
Family Enjoys

A few of the outings we plan for families. Most choose a handful and leave the rest of the time for the pool.

A private boat day to the Nusa islands

Clear water, snorkelling and a beach stop, with life jackets in every size and shade on board.

A Balinese cooking class

A hands-on class the children and grandparents can share, ending with lunch the family made together.

A rice terrace morning

An easy walk through Ubud's terraces, with stops for photos, coconuts and a swing over the valley.

A temple visit with a guide

Sarongs, offerings and the stories behind them, explained at a pace that suits every age.

Surf lessons for the teenagers

Group lessons with local instructors on a gentle break, while the rest of the family watches from the beach.

A clifftop evening in Uluwatu

Sunset over the ocean and the Kecak fire dance, a hit with children and grandparents alike.

A waterfall morning

A short, manageable walk to one of the island's waterfalls, chosen for access as much as beauty.

A floating breakfast and movie night

Breakfast served in the pool and an outdoor screen at the villa, for a day when nobody wants to leave.

A Recent Engagement

Four Generations,
Nineteen Guests.

A family of nineteen, aged one to 75, needing twelve rooms and a pace that worked for all of them. When one guest couldn't travel by road or sea, we arranged a helicopter transfer so the whole family could stay together.

Common Questions

Family Trips, Explained

Can you plan a family reunion in Bali?

Yes. We source a villa or estate that keeps everyone together, collect each arrival from the airport, plan a family dinner and a few shared days out, and leave room for free time, with a team on the ground and one point of contact for the whole family.

Can you find a villa that sleeps the whole family?

Yes. Bali has large private villas and estates that sleep big families under one roof, and for larger groups we book neighbouring villas run as one. We match bedrooms to who's coming, so light sleepers, young children and grandparents each have what they need.

Can you arrange cots, babysitters and activities for children?

Yes. Cots, high chairs and extra beds are arranged before arrival, babysitters and nannies are vetted and booked, and we plan outings that children enjoy, from boat days to cooking classes and surf lessons.

How do you plan for grandparents or guests with limited mobility?

We look for step-free rooms and villas without long stairways, keep transfers short, and choose outings for access as well as interest. Where a guest can't manage road or sea travel, we arrange alternatives such as a helicopter transfer.

How many people can you host for a family trip?

From a single family to large reunions with several branches. Larger groups are spread across neighbouring villas, or a villa and a nearby hotel, booked and managed as one plan.

How far in advance should we plan a family reunion in Bali?

Four to six months gives the best choice of large villas, especially around school holidays and peak season. Smaller families can plan with less notice, so it's worth asking even if the dates are close.
